In the course of I Buddhist Culture Festival in Szczecin Marek Witek, diamond way buddhist teacher, will give a lecture on buddhism in a contemporary world. According to buddhist wisdom, clearing the mind of a false imaginations about itself, reveals its natural potential – it becomes free, joyful and creative. Recognizing the nature of mind – of who we essentially are – is a goal of a buddhist practice.

„Wintertour” is a documentary directed by Lesław Dobrucki about winter journey of Lama Ole Nydahl across Syberia. Every year Lama Ole Nydahl, accompanied by a group of several hundreds friends, travels inwards Syberia. For 40 years he has been thus fulfilling the wish of his teacher, XVI Karmapa, to spread buddhist wisdom into the West. The film tells also about buddhist values, about what is important in life and about the phenomenon of buddhist teacher.
