"TAK JEST U NAS" / "IDYLLE" - documentaries.

First public screening of two documentaries about former inhabitants of the city of Szczecin. After the presentation there will be a meeting with the film protagonists and a solo cello concert by Willem Schulz.

IDYLLE

Film is a brief meeting with Rudolph Schulz who after several years visits Szczecin - the city where he was born and grew up. He's accompanied by his son Willem, who knows the places from his father's stories, which made them also "his own places".

In the same place time can stop for one person, while for somebody else it keeps on going. A home is a place where we are "at ours", while the others feel guests. But maybe it is us being guests, in a place where the others feel at home? What if our home is also a home for someone we don't know?

"Tak jest u nas" presents lodgers of one house in Szczecin - the present ones and the former ones who lived there before the war. One of many houses in Pogodno turns out to be a crossing point of stories which are very different from one another, yet surprisingly similar on the emotional level.
