DANCES IN THE SAND - film Odin Teatret

A film about an experimental journey and cultural 'barter' in Burkina Faso, Africa. Roberta Carreri, an actress of Odin Teatret, functions as catalyst for the Danish anthropologist Mette Bovin, who is able to meet the Africans in a new way, by means of the so-called Provocation Anthropology. The actress, the anthropologist and the African villagers performed together in an exchange of dance, theatre, song, drums and masks.
