RECYCLING 2009 - PROJEKCJA FILMU
On the area of Lasztownia, in the buildings of the old municipal slaughterhouse (currently ground of the fishing harbour Port Rybacki GRYF) september of 2008 an attempt was made to transform the data of our archived individual and collective memory in the context of space.
Artists from different fields and workers from the harbourarea had been invited by the projects author, Weronika Fibich, to togethe reflect on the meaning of the medias of memory. (Photography, film, texts, own personal memories).
Were does the boundry lie between the memory on the negative and that of human mind? Is that, what we recall really our own personal trace of memory or is it an image created by photo, film and text? What kind of consequences will there be if once again we develope those informations, archived long ago? And how will they change in regard to time and space? An answer to those questions was the artistic project RECYCLING 2009, which is part of the project Quest for the identiy of the place.
