BLACK & WHITE
The "Teatr-3" works since 1970 as part of the polish Association of the Deaf in the Departement of the region "Zachodniopomorskie" as a theatre of deaf and people hard of hearing. Since that time the theatre has performed 30 premiers, has created 20 miniplays and more than 30 etudes. It has toured in Poland and abroad in countries like: Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Rep., Bulgaria, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Denmark. The theatre cooperates on stable basis with professional actors and directors who usually perform in the theatres of Szczecin. Because of the cooperation with the Austrian association for music and theatre "Arbos" from Salzburg the group also performes with a multinational cast.
The performance "Black & White" is the result of a series of workshops held in Polczyn Zdroj. Its is a mixture of plastic collages and actors etudes and speaks of the different colours and secrets of human life.
On stage, the main colour is white, which for us is easily associated with purity, innocence and spirituality. Is it possible to lead a life according to those values of purity and love? Or is this whiteness and innocence only to be experienced after death?
